Forged fasteners are the key connecting components of the building scaffolding system,processed using the metal forging process,and are mainly used to firmly connect the steel pipe components such as vertical rods,crossbars,and inclined rods of the scaffolding at 90 degrees or a specific angle to form a stable support frame.Compared with ordinary casting fasteners,they are widely used in heavy-duty scenarios such as high-rise buildings,bridge construction,and large-scale plant construction due to their excellent mechanical properties given by the forging process,and are the core components to ensure construction safety.From the perspective of manufacturing process,forged fasteners are made of high-quality carbon structural steel(such as Q235 steel)as raw materials and are made through multiple processes such as heating,forging,forming,heat treatment,and surface anti-corrosion treatment.The forging process can eliminate the porosity,looseness and other defects inside the metal,make the steel grain refined,and greatly improve the density and strength of the fastener.Subsequent heat treatments(e.g.,quenching+tempering)further enhance their hardness and toughness,ensuring that fasteners are not prone to deformation or breakage under construction loads and vibration shocks.The surface is usually hot-dip galvanized or electrophoresis anti-rust treatment,which can effectively resist moisture and dust erosion on the construction site,and extend the service life to 5-8 years,which is much higher than the service life of ordinary fasteners of about 3 years.In terms of performance advantages,the core competitiveness of forged fasteners lies in"high strength"and"high reliability".Its tensile bearing capacity can reach more than 15kN,excellent anti-slip performance,when the scaffolding bears the weight of construction personnel,equipment and wind load,it can effectively prevent the relative sliding between steel pipes and fasteners,and avoid the risk of collapse of the frame.In addition,the structural design of forged fasteners is more suitable for the curvature of steel pipes,and the installation efficiency is about 20%higher than that of cast fasteners,and it can be reused after disassembly,which is in line with the concept of green construction.In terms of application scenarios,in addition to mainstream building scaffolding,forged fasteners are also commonly used in temporary bridge support,stage construction,storage shelf fixation and other fields.In the construction of super high-rise buildings,for scaffolding systems over 50 meters,the specification mandates the use of forged fasteners to meet the needs of heavy load and wind resistance.In bridge construction,it can also be matched with an adjustable base to adapt to the support needs of complex terrain.In terms of selection and maintenance,it is necessary to give priority to products that meet the national standard"Steel Pipe Scaffolding Fasteners"(GB 15831-2016),check whether there are cracks and deformations on the surface of the fasteners,and whether the bolts can rotate flexibly.During use,it is necessary to check the fastening of fasteners regularly to avoid loosening bolts;When stored for a long time,it is necessary to clean up surface impurities and place them in a dry environment to prevent rust.As the"invisible guardian"of building safety,the quality and standardized use of forged fasteners are directly related to the life safety and engineering stability of construction personnel,and are indispensable key components in modern building construction.
