Galvanized steel support is a steel support member treated by hot-dip galvanizing or cold galvanizing process,which is widely used in temporary or semi-permanent support scenarios of construction,municipal,transportation and other projects,and its core function is to bear loads and stabilize the structure,especially suitable for corrosive environments such as humidity and outdoors.It forms a protective barrier on the steel surface through the zinc layer,greatly improving rust resistance,extending service life,and increasing durability by 3-5 times compared to ordinary ungalvanized steel supports,making it an ideal support choice for both safety and economy.From the structural point of view,the load-bearing core design of galvanized steel support continues to be steel support,which is mainly composed of three parts:first,the main body of the support,mostly Q235/Q355 seamless steel pipe(diameterΦ48-Φ108mm)or section steel(angle steel,channel steel),covered with a 50-80μm thick zinc layer on the surface to ensure corrosion resistance and strength;the second is the connecting parts,including adjustable nuts,rotating fasteners or flanges,which are convenient for assembly with other components,and some models have a thread adjustment structure,which can achieve height fine adjustment with an accuracy of±2mm;The third is the support component,with a square support plate(100×100-200×200mm)on the top and a base plate at the bottom to increase the stress area and avoid local crushing.According to the use,it can be divided into two categories:one is vertical galvanized steel support,which is used for formwork support,scaffolding vertical rod,carrying concrete weight and construction live load,and a single point load can reach 20-50kN;the other is transverse galvanized steel supports,such as oblique braces and horizontal braces,which resist wind loads and lateral pressures,and are often used for structural reinforcement in bridge and tunnel construction.When using,pay attention:check whether the zinc layer is intact before installation,and if there is a large area of peeling,it is necessary to reapply anti-rust paint;ensure that the support is installed vertically or at the design angle to avoid eccentric force;tighten the connecting parts after adjustment to prevent loosening;Regularly clean surface dust and dirt to maintain the integrity of the zinc layer.With the advantages of corrosion resistance and easy maintenance,it is widely used in outdoor billboard support,temporary subway support,port engineering and other scenarios.
