Powder-Coated Steel Support is a steel support member treated by electrostatic powder coating process, by evenly spraying polymer powder coating (such as epoxy resin, polyester powder) on the surface of the steel support, cured at high temperature to form a dense protective film, with anti-corrosion and anti-rust, beautiful and durable characteristics, widely used in buildings, municipalities, landscapes and other support scenarios with certain requirements for anti-corrosion but limited budget, is a cost-effective choice between ordinary painted steel support and galvanized steel support. Its protective film thickness can reach 60-120μm, its salt spray resistance is better than ordinary paint (can pass the 500-hour salt spray test), its service life is 2-3 times longer than that of ordinary painted steel supports, and the color can be customized (such as gray, blue) to adapt to the needs of different construction environments. From the structural point of view, the load-bearing core design of the Powder-Coated Steel Support continues the steel support, which is mainly composed of three parts: first, the main body of the support, mostly Q235/Q355 seamless steel pipe (diameter Φ48-Φ108mm) or section steel (angle steel, channel steel), the surface is derusted (sandblasting and rust removal to Sa2.5 grade), phosphating treatment and then sprayed with powder to ensure the adhesion of the coating; the second is the connecting parts, including adjustable nuts, rotating fasteners or flanges, the connection parts will be shielded before spraying to avoid the coating affecting the connection accuracy, and some adjustable models with thread adjustment structure can achieve height fine adjustment; The third is the supporting components, the top square pallet (100×100-200×200mm) and the bottom base plate are sprayed on the whole surface to prevent local rust. According to the application, it can be divided into vertical Powder-Coated Steel Supports (such as formwork supports, scaffolding vertical poles, single-point load-bearing 20-50kN) and transverse Powder-Coated Steel Supports (such as diagonal braces, horizontal braces, used to resist lateral loads). Its core advantages are: corrosion resistance is better than ordinary painting, the cost is lower than hot-dip galvanizing, and the coating has no hydrogen embrittlement risk (avoiding the decline in steel toughness caused by the galvanizing process); At the same time, powder coating is solvent-free and more environmentally friendly, meeting the green requirements of modern construction. When using, pay attention to: avoid sharp objects scratching the coating during installation, and if there is partial damage, it needs to be repaired with the same color repair paint; It cannot be used in long-term immersion water environments (such as underground diaphragm wall support), and it is recommended to choose galvanized or stainless steel support in such scenarios; Regularly clean surface dust to avoid accumulating dirt affecting the durability of the coating, and it is especially suitable for application in scenarios such as factory workshops, outdoor landscape brackets, and non-wading municipal projects.
