Common installation errors of Wall-Tie Bolt on construction sites?
If the installation of the screw through the wall on the construction site is not properly operated, it is easy to lead to formwork deformation, concrete slurry leakage or hidden dangers of the wall structure, and the common errors are concentrated in the following four categories:
First, positioning and spacing violations. The spacing is not determined according to the pressure on the concrete side, and there is "over-distance installation" (such as the spacing should be 400mm but set to 600mm), resulting in uneven force, bulging and deformation of the formwork. or the screw positioning offset, forcibly perforating after colliding with the wall reinforcement, destroying the protective layer of the reinforcement bar and affecting the structural strength of the wall.
The second is the lack of sealing and waterproofing. When installing waterproof walls (such as basement exterior walls), rubber waterstops are not installed between the screw and the formwork, or the size of the waterstops does not match and the installation is skewed, resulting in slurry leaking out of the gaps during pouring, forming a water seepage channel; The screw hole is not sealed with tape, causing slurry leakage to affect the flatness of the wall.
Third, improper fastening operation. over-tightening the nut on one side, causing the formwork to be unbalanced and tilted; or the fastening sequence of multiple screws is chaotic, and it is not symmetrically fastened from the middle to both sides, resulting in gaps at the formwork splicing; Some screws do not use double nuts, and the nuts are loose after pouring vibration and lose their fastening effect.
Fourth, the structural adaptation is wrong. Ordinary wall threading screws are used in waterproof scenarios, or the specifications of the inner and outer rods of the three-stage screw do not match (such as thin inner rods and thick outer rods), resulting in loose connections; There is also insufficient screw length, which cannot cover the wall + formwork thickness, and is fastened only by some threads, and the stress stability is poor.
